Payment and Pricing Policy
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Prices and availability of items shown on this site are subject to change without notice. Online prices are not valid in the retail store.
All warranties are the warranties as given by the manufacturers. If a product fails and is still under warranty, the customer must use the warranty information sent with the merchandise to make a claim to the manufacturer of the product. Product warranties will be voided if electrical cords have been cut. Axe Handle Timber is not responsible for the use or misuse of any products it sells. Axe Handle Timber will not be responsible for any claims with regard to the installation or removal of original or replacement products; or for any claims regarding supposed pond life death or health issues since Axe Handle Timber has no control over the installation process, use or misuse of products, or the care and conditions of the pond environment. Axe Handle Timber accepts no responsibility or liability that a customerís order will meet a specific job quote or building requirements. We will offer free advice to our customers but this information is not to be interpreted as an absolute quote or order for the customer to complete their project. It is the customerís responsibility to become educated to whatever degree is necessary, before they order products from Axe Handle Timber, so their order will be as complete as possible.
Occasionally a product may temporarily be out of stock. If this occurs, your credit card will not be charged for that item, and you will receive an out of stock email. We will hold your order for three business days, during which time we will check for availability. If the item becomes available, we will charge your credit card, ship the item, and send you an email with the tracking number. If the item does not become available, you will receive a second out of stock email and your order will be removed from our system. You may reorder the item at a later time.
Axe Handle Timber only ships to the lower 48 continental United States. We will not ship to PO Boxes. All items are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. Orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours of receipt of the order and confirmation of credit card validity. Actual delivery time depends on your location and proximity to the warehouse of origin for the shipment. Axe Handle Timber does not accept or assume responsibility for the shipping companyís delivery schedule or policies. Please call the shipping company directly with your tracking number to verify delivery date.
It is the customerís responsibility to inspect the packaging and products for accuracy and damage prior to signing the delivery receipt. Once the customer accepts the product, Axe Handle Timber is no longer responsible for damages that may have occurred in transit. Check the number of boxes received against the driverís receipt and note any discrepancies on the driverís copy. Visible signs of damage to packaging should also be noted on the delivery receipt. If the packaging is damaged, check the contents for damage. If the products are damaged due to mishandling during shipping, refuse the shipment due to damages and immediately notify us at
email@example.com. We will gladly reship replacement products upon receipt of the damaged items in their original packaging. Sometimes deliveries are made that do not require a signature. If you come home and find that the carrier delivered damaged packages and the products appear damaged due to mishandling during transit, please contact the carrier to report your claim of refusal, and immediately notify us at
firstname.lastname@example.org. We will gladly reship replacement products upon receipt of the damaged items in their original packaging.
Damaged Products Policy
On occasion, a product may be shipped that is damaged with no outward appearance of damage to the box or packaging. Most likely, this damage occurred during the manufacturerís assembly or packaging process. In this case, claims for damaged products inside what appears to be undamaged packaging must be made within seven days of receipt of the product. Please email us for a Return Merchandise Authorization # (RMA#). Include your name, address, phone number, order #, item name, date received, and description of damage to item. We will gladly reship replacement products upon receipt of the damaged items in their original packaging. Please write the RMA # on the outside of the box and include your name, address, phone number, and a copy of your sales receipt inside the box. Mail your return to the address provided in your RMA # instructions.
We hope you are satisfied with the purchases you have made. If, however, you are not satisfied with your item, we will refund the purchase price less a 15% restocking fee. We do not reimburse shipping charges. All returns must be made within fifteen days of receipt of the product and require a Return Authorization # (RMA #). Please email us for an RMA # at
email@example.com and include your name, address, phone number, order #, item name, date received, and reason for return. Please write the RMA # on the outside of the box and include your name, address, phone number, and a copy of your sales receipt inside the box. Mail your return to the address provided in your RMA # instructions. Return credits will be applied once items have been received and inspected.
All items returned must be in their original condition, clean and unused, in their original packaging with all instructions and warranties. Any ďreturn to senderĒ, refused packages (other than damaged packages), or packages without an authorized RMA # returned to us will be forfeited from the original purchaser and no credit will be given.
The following items may not be returned: perishable items, fish food, chemicals, bacteria, plant fertilizers, liner, tubing, sealants, tapes, cut to length merchandise, any products that have been used.
